Sagar Wali Qawwali comes to Carteret this November, led by Delhi-born singer-composer Sagar Bhatia - the voice behind hits like "Mera Ishq," "Kiven Mukhre Ton," and "Khudaya," featured in the Bollywood film Sarfira. Backed by an 11-piece live ensemble, Bhatia has built Sagar Wali Qawwali into one of the most in-demand Sufi qawwali acts touring today, with 2,000+ shows across India, the U.S., Canada, Dubai, and the U.K. Known for blending traditional qawwali with modern arrangements, Bhatia has earned "Popular Music Maestro of the Year" and "Best Live Act on Stage" honors, and continues to sell out venues on the strength of his live performances alone.
